Dave has been entertaining since age 6 when he first started playing piano and writing his own songs in his native New Jersey. A Berklee graduate, he studied voice with grammy nominated Donna McElroy, and has performed up and down the East Coast.•

Classically trained New Orleans native Amanda started in musical theatre at 9, and has been performing ever since in classical ensembles and gospel choirs, dance troupes and shows. When not with Soul City she sings in a Motown ensemble at Berklee.•

Born in Los Angeles, Phillip wrote his first song at age 7, and early on discovered the music of Boys2Men. In high school he sang in the church choir of and did some recording with Andre Crouch. Phillip studied music at Pierce College in Los Angeles, and the Berklee College of Music in Boston. He is dedicated to bringing the experience of unity present in all styles of music to every performance. •

Dan comes from Manchester England, where he started performing at age 8. As a teen he won a national award for young jazz musicians in '94 and '95. His degree in Jazz Performance from Leeds College led to a scholarship at Berklee College of Music in Boston. Dan has also toured as the keyboardist/musical director of the Blues Brothers Official European Band, and played with Louis Nash and Tim Garland, Chick Corea).•

Chris Gagne is on full scholarship at the Berklee College of Music where he studies jazz performance and composition. Chris has been very active playing in some of the top ensembles at the school and has also performed with the likes of Joe Lovano, Kevin Mahogany, George Garzonne, Bob Brookmeyer and Michel Camilo.•

Matt came to Berklee College of Music at age 18 where he is currently pursuing a degree in Performance. Matt plays lead trumpet in the school's top ensembles and has performed with such artists as Wynton Marsalis, Michel Camilo, Gary Burton, John Faddis, Steve Turre, Joe Lovano, and Kevin Mahogany.•

Jason comes to us from Danvers Ma., where he started playing the Alto saxophone at age 10, and tackled the Baritone sax at 12. He studied jazz at the New School University in New York City, performing and studying with artists such as Chico Hamilton and Gary Smulyan. He then gained a full scholarship to Berklee College in Boston, where he studied with Dino Govoni and Geroge Garzone.•

Masa began taking music lessons at age three. He continued to study and play music while living in Japan and in 1992 he came to Boston to study Jazz Composition at Berklee. Masa's experience as a Rock-Fusion and Funk musician, along with years of classical training, brings a crisp groove to the Soul City sound.•

Originally from New Jersey, Justin attended Berklee College of Music on scholarship. In high school he won the "Best Rhythm Section" award at the North American Music Festival after less than 2 years of playing the bass. In He has shared the stage with Dicky Betts (Allman Bros), Blackalicious, The Wailers, Braddigan (Dispatch), The Samples, Carbon Leaf, and many others. He's also opened for the Dave Matthews Band, G-Love, the Allman Bros, and Moe.•

Danny started playing drums at the age of 11 and hasn't stopped since. At the age of 14 he won the title "Best teen drummer in the state of Maine" and a small record deal to boot. In high school, he participated in semi-national jazz festivals, placing at the Maine All-State Jazz Fest, The Montreal High School Jazz Fest and the Berklee Jazz Festival. He graduated from Berklee in 2005 where he studied Traditional Composition and has since traveled coast to coast playing drums.•
